Coimbatore, Apr 25 (KNN) The Foundry Industry has commended the MSME Technology Development Centre to set up a Foundry Development centre in the city.At the centre, the Foundry Industry pursued facilities such as melting, moulding, mould making, core making, and lab testing.
The capitalists from the region had a discussion with R. Paneerselvam, principal director of MSME Technology Development Centre.
The MSME Technology Development Centre has volunteered to set up a sand reclamation project. It also has plans to form a technology centre here & will fund foundry clusters for lean practice programme.
The foundry development centre should have hostel amenities and should make available job training for two years with a day every week for theory classes.
Mr. Panneerselvam said, valid certificates will be allotted by the MSME Technology Development centre.
Foundries here will begin a Foundry Development Foundation to initiate the development centre, according to a press release from the Institute of Indian Foundrymen.
